Aluminium Doors Ireland
Aurora Designer Front Door Range

Designer Aluminium Doors

The Aurora is Bright Vista Group’s designer aluminium front door range for modern Irish homes. A thermally broken aluminium system with a 75mm to 90mm frame depth, the Aurora delivers the slim, architectural look of a designer entrance door alongside the security and thermal performance Irish weather demands.

PAS 24 and RC2 security certification, a full RAL colour palette, and configurable glazing panels make the Aurora a front door that is specified on its own terms, not chosen by default. Available for residential new builds, self-builds, and renovation projects across Dublin and Ireland.

Aurora Technical Specifications

Insulation

High-density foam-filled cores for superior thermal performance. Contributes to whole-door U-values suitable for SEAI grant eligibility.

Security Certification

Tested to PAS 24 (Enhanced Security) and RC2 (Resistance Class 2) for forced entry resistance. Both certifications are the standard required by Irish insurers for front door upgrades.

Thermally Broken Frame

75mm to 90mm thermally broken aluminium profiles. The polyamide thermal break prevents cold bridging across the frame, maintaining warmth at the threshold and reducing condensation on internal surfaces.

Accessible Threshold

Low-profile Part M compliant threshold: suitable for wheelchair and step-free access. Relevant for homes with mobility requirements and for planning applications where Part M compliance is required.

Colour and Finish

Full RAL colour range on the external face. Dual-colour option: different internal and external finish. Powder-coated finish with a UV stability guarantee for at least 10 years.

For some buyers, the key attraction is the idea of an aluminium entrance that feels more architectural and more durable. They want the door to act as a statement piece without losing practicality. That means the system still needs to support insulation, weather resistance, and long-term reliability.

In Irish conditions the front door faces more weather pressure than almost any other element of the building envelope. Atlantic wind, sustained rainfall, and salt air on coastal sites all work against a door that was not specified for the Irish climate. The Aurora uses a 75mm to 90mm thermally broken aluminium frame with high-density foam-filled cores and low-profile weather seals. It is engineered to perform consistently, not just look good on installation day.

At Bright Vista Group, we supply and install Aurora designer aluminium front doors across Dublin and Ireland. Colour consultation, glazing configuration, and hardware selection are part of the process — the Aurora is specified to the project, not supplied off the shelf. Free site survey included. SEAI grant documentation provided for eligible homes.

All configurations are available with a full powder-coat UV guarantee.

Aurora Security: PAS 24 and RC2 Certification Explained

The Aurora is tested to PAS 24 (Enhanced Security Performance Requirements for Doorsets) and RC2 (Resistance Class 2 for Burglar Resistance). In practical terms:

  • PAS 24 is the British and Irish standard for enhanced security doorsets, required by many Irish home insurers for front door security discounts.
  • RC2 means the door has passed a standardised 3-minute attack test using hand tools, the minimum resistance class recommended for residential entrances.

Both certifications are assessed by accredited third-party test houses, not self-declared. Certificates are available on request.

Aurora Aluminium Doors and the 2026 SEAI Grant

The 2026 SEAI Windows and Doors Grant provides up to 800 euros toward each external door replacement, with a maximum of two doors per application. For eligible homeowners replacing a front and back door, that is up to 1,600 euros available.

The Aurora meets the SEAI thermal performance requirement. Bright Vista Group is an SEAI-registered contractor (No. 19930) and provides the product Declarations of Performance and contractor documentation your application requires.
