Quality without Compromise: SEAI Grant Solutions

At Bright Vista Group Ltd, we believe that high-quality windows and doors should be accessible to every homeowner in Ireland. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) offers the SEAI windows and doors grant to help you upgrade your home’s insulation and reduce heat loss. As a registered contractor, we provide the expertise and the premium products you need to make your home warmer, quieter, and more efficient.

Upgrading your property is about more than just a new look, it is a long-term investment. By using the windows and doors grant Ireland program, you can offset the cost of high-performance glazing while significantly lowering your monthly heating bills. Our team ensures your project meets the highest standards from start to finish.

Why Choose an SEAI Registered Window Contractor?

To qualify for government funding, your project must meet strict standards for energy efficiency. We are proud to be among the SEAI registered windows and doors suppliers, ensuring that every frame and glass unit we install meets the necessary thermal requirements for the grant.

Your SEAI grant application cannot be approved unless the work is carried out by an SEAI-registered contractor. Bright Vista Group is registered under Contractor No. 19930. We supply grant-eligible windows and doors — every system meets or exceeds the SEAI U-value requirement of 1.4 W/m²K — and we provide the documentation your application and post-works BER assessment depend on.

Thermal Retention:
Our systems are designed to achieve low U-values, keeping heat inside during the winter.
Airtightness:

About Windows & Doors SEAI Grants 2026 in Ireland

€1,500 to €4,000 for windows depending on property type (€4,000 detached, €3,000 semi-detached/end-terrace, €1,800 mid-terrace, €1,500 apartment), plus €800 per external door up to two doors. Maximum combined grant: €5,600.

The stand-alone grant launched on 2 March 2026 under SEAI’s Individual Energy Upgrade Grants. Works ordered from 27 January 2026 are eligible for retrospective application, but you must apply via the SEAI portal before the grant is approved.

You qualify if your home was built and occupied before 2011, you have a valid MPRN, your attic and wall insulation are already ‘Good’ or ‘Very Good’ on your BER, and you use an SEAI-registered contractor. The grant is not means-tested — there is no income limit.

Yes. Bright Vista Group is registered with SEAI under Contractor No. 19930. We supply grant-eligible windows and doors and provide the Declarations of Performance and contractor documentation your SEAI application requires.

Replacement windows must achieve a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K or better. Most modern double-glazed and all triple-glazed units meet this. BVG’s alu-clad and aluminium ranges achieve U-values from 0.8 W/m²K. Know more about SEAI grant.

No. The SEAI application must be submitted by you, the homeowner, through the SEAI portal at seai.ie. As your registered contractor, we provide the documentation (Contractor No. 19930, product DOPs, quotation) — but SEAI manages approval and payment directly with you.

If your attic or wall insulation isn’t rated ‘Good’ or ‘Very Good’, you’ll need to upgrade it before or alongside your window project. Attic and cavity wall insulation are also SEAI grant-eligible, so measures can be combined.

The Windows and Doors Grant is part of SEAI’s Individual Energy Upgrade Grants — the programme formerly known as Better Energy Homes. The 2026 update added windows and doors as stand-alone measures for the first time.
